Gerald R. Kostichka , 77, formerly of Algoma, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011. He was born September 24, 1933 in Algoma to the late Wilfred and Mary(Stangel) Kostichka.
Gerald graduated from Algoma High School in 1952. He enjoyed sporting events, reading and playing cards.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Verna(Anthony) Acampora, Brooklyn, NY, Jean(Francis) Bair, Algoma; nieces and nephews, Jeanne, Terese, John, Julie, Lynn, Michael, Lisa, Pat. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Pasquale.
Friends may call on Monday, January 31st at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Algoma from 10 to 11am. Funeral 11am with Fr. Bill Swichtenberg officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
