IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ann M.
Tess
April 24, 1964 – January 1, 2026
Ann Marie Tess, 61, Kewaunee, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2026. She was born on April 24, 1964, to the late James and Gail (Musil) Shefchek. On June 1, 1985, she married John Tess at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her single greatest joy in life was her family. She was regarded as the cornerstone of the Tess household. Ann provided a life rich in blessings to her family through her career, but she was most proud of the loving home she established.
Ann enjoyed many things, all based around time with others. Weekend trips with her husband John were a favorite. She enjoyed playing games and bingo with her sisters, and all the time she could soak up with her children and grandchildren. As a mother, she shone bright as the sun. Ann was quick-witted and had a smile and laugh that was infectious. She was especially thankful for the time she spent with her father, Jim, working on the Old Dutch potato chip route on weekends. She will always be remembered for the outpouring of love she showed to all those in her life.
Those who knew Ann and John, knew that their love was, and remains eternal.
Ann is survived by her children, Derek (Laura) Tess, De Pere; Jacob (partner Brooke Hartmann) Tess, De Pere; Taylor (partner Bo) Tess, Milwaukee; grandchildren, Kennedy Tess, and James Tess; siblings, Becky (Mark) Chaudoir; Vicky (Dick) Romsos; Brenda (Warren) Swintosky; Lisa (Jim) Schaller; Michael (Cheryl) Shefchek; Katie Shefchek all of Kewaunee; Jim (Sandy) Shefchek; Paul Shefchek; Amy Shefchek, Green Bay; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Gary (Amy) Tess, Kewaunee; Jennifer Tess, Kewaunee; Paul (Netty) Tess, Brussels; Gregg Waegli, as well as by many nieces and nephews.
