Anthony J. Buhr Sr., Casco, passed away Friday September 28, 2012 at home. He was born October 26, 1925 in the Town of Lincoln to the late Peter and Louise (DeBauche) Buhr. He served his country in the Army during World War II in Germany. He married Ella Mae Baudhuin on May 29, 1948 at St. Peter Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2001. Tony was employed at Peterson Builders for 30 years until his retirement. He greatly enjoyed Wednesday afternoon cooyah games and running the football pool with family and friends.

Tony is survived by his children Dennis (Renee) Buhr, Casco, Arlene (Mark) Denis, Green Bay, Lynne (Mike) Evanoff, Florida, Tammy Borley (fiancAC. Chuck Bliss), Casco; daughter-in-law Darlene Buhr, Brussels; grandchildren Tim, Shane, Melissa, Erin, and Hope Buhr, Corina Wallace, Casey Buhr, Brian and Nicole Buhr, Matthew, Sarah, Richard, and Mark Jr. Denis, Carrie and Chad Alberts, Michael and Olivia Evanoff, Kayla and Justin Borley; great-grandchildren Brandon, Brett, Dylan, Devon, Elizabeth, Bo, Sam, and Alex Buhr, Isabella Martinez, Jacob, Sage, Emiah, and Cala Rose Defere, Eden and Emerson Wallace, Connor Buhr, and Levi Denis. He is further survived by one brother Eli Buhr, Algoma, and two sisters Clara Engebose, Casco, and Melanie Deprey, Algoma.

He was preceded in death by two sons Tony Jr. and Charles Buhr, son-in-law Dan Borley, grandson Jake Buhr, great-granddaughter Elena Martinez, two brothers Peter and Nick Buhr, and his sister Louise Krause.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday October 1, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco. Rosary will be held Monday night at 6:30 with Deacon Mark Hibbs. Visitation will continue on Tuesday morning from 10 until the time of service at St. Peter Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. with Fr. Steve Vanden Boogard and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery with full military rites. Online condolence messages may be expressed here .
