Bonnie J. Schuller

October 18, 1941 — August 2, 2025

Kewaunee

Bonnie J. Schuller, age 83, of Kewaunee passed away on Saturday August 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 18, 1941, in Kewaunee to the late Robert and Rita (Peronto) Krauss.

Bonnie had many gifts and talents. She was ahead of her time in her career and held positions that were not typically occupied by women. She worked as the Plant Manager for her father's businesses, Wood Steel and Kewaunee Equipment companies and successfully owned and managed rental properties in Kewaunee.

Bonnie was an avid gardener, and her plants can be found in many gardens throughout the community. She canned and pickled produce from her garden and made a tunnel of fudge cake that remains legendary.

Bonnie always loved organizing and hosting family gatherings at her Victorian home on Milwaukee Street. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She started decorating weeks in advance, transforming her entire house and every year she baked hundreds of cookies for family and friends.

Bonnie gave back to her community as past President of the Rotary Club and the Marquette Historic District. She also served on the Historic Preservation Commission for the city and was an election worker.

Bonnie was especially grateful to reconnect with old friends in recent years, especially her lifelong friend Sue Ellen Towers.

Survivors include her children: Bobbi Jeanquart of Kewaunee, Darin and Janel Jeanquart of Ledgeview, her two grandchildren: Thomas Palmer, and Brayden Jeanquart; her sisters: Penny and Thomas Harenburg, Oshkosh; Candy and Roy Malvitz, Luxemburg; Patti and Michael Rice, Waukesha; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Schuller; her grandson Michael Jeanquart Lopez; her parents; her brother Ronald R. Krauss; her niece Chastity Shaw and her beloved beagle Tilly.

A visitation will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, at Community Congregational Church, 502 Center Street, Kewaunee. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Howard Batt officiating. A lunch will take place at Waterfront Banquet Hall.
