Caroline M. Zik, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 12, 2014 at Anna's Healthcare in New Franken. She was born March 3, 1917 to the late Charles and Anna (LaVerentz) Klein in Manitowoc WI. She was married to Ervin Zik, who preceded her in death on January 11, 1998. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, and gardening. Caroline was a kind woman and friend to everyone she met.
Caroline is survived by one granddaughter Christy (Travis) Botz, Colorado; three great-grandchildren Trindon, Treyton, Calie ; many nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Charles Zik, as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Athey officiating.
