Clifford R. Ullmann

Clifford Ray Ullmann passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the age of 88. He was born in Luxemburg on February 21, 1933 to the late Edward Ullmann and Jeannette (Pittner) Ullmann. Clifford was a 1951 graduate of Luxemburg High School and on December 17, 1954 was drafted into the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on April 19, 1956. On September 26th 1959 he married Mavis J. Sisel at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Luxemburg and are members of Christ of the Bay Lutheran Church in Green Bay.

Clifford farmed on the family farm his whole life with his wife and four sons. He took great pride in the farm and in April 1997 he retired. Clifford was on the church council at St. John’s Lutheran Church and also served as an elder. Whenever Clifford went somewhere in the car, he was always looking at how the crops were doing on other farms along the way. You could always find Clifford outside either in the barn, in the shop, or out in the fields. He enjoyed watching western movies and also reading western books. In his retired years Clifford also enjoyed building puzzles of farms or nature.

Clifford is survived by his loving wife, Mavis; two sons, Blaine Ullmann and David (Christine) Ullmann; and brother Wallace Ullmann; four grandchildren, Melinda, Amanda, Marissa, and Isaiah and two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Jeannette Ullmann; two brothers, LeRoy Ullmann and Larry Ullmann; two sons, Allan Ullmann and Curt Ullmann.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Christ of the Bay Church, 450 Laverne Dr., Green Bay, WI 54311. Funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Nathan Lewis officiating. Burial will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Luxemburg following the funeral service. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
