Darlene M. Parma, 89, Tisch Mills, passed away at home on Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born in Red River on April 3, 1936, to the late Joseph and Desira (Deterville) Degrave. She married Darrel Anschutz on September 22, 1956. They had five children together. Darrel preceded her in death in 1989. Darlene then married Sylvester Parma on September 7, 1991. He preceded her in death in 2017.
Darlene enjoyed polka dancing and was a member of the Happy Hoppers. She loved being outside, watching the kids race motorcycles, bicycling, and athletics. Darlene was an excellent baseball player, and the boys in school would always pick her first to be on their team. Darlene was known to be a hard worker as she worked 35 years at Holy Family Hospital, a job she truly loved.
She is survived by her children, David (Kim) Anschutz, Rick (Paula) Anschutz, Mark (Gwen) Anschutz, Gail (Lynn) Soukup, Randall Anschutz; eleven grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husbands as well as other family members.
A private service will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services, Casco. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
