David Delfosse, 60, Brussels, a most beloved grandpa and dad met the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2011.
He will be sadly missed by daughter, Mindie Overbeck, son-in-law, Travis and their children, Mitchell, Faith and Brodie; son, Adam Delfosse, daughter-in-law, Megan and their children, Ethan, Ashlyn and Aiden; daughter, Danielle Ware, son-in-law, Tom and their children, Moriah, Gracie and Taylor.
David's #1 joy in life was his grandchildren. Sporting events, holidays and the Door County Fair filled his life. David held a maintenance job with the Brussel's Lions Club Park. His extreme love for dairy cattle began his 21 years of successful dairy breeding, showing and farming. His love to teach children about the dairy industry showed when he became a certified dairy judge. He was a board member for the Door County Holstein Assoc. and head of Little Britches.
David is further survived by his parents, Robert and Armene (Dhuey) Delfosse; 2 goddaughters, Nicole Fett and Katie Wyman; brothers and sister, Theresa (Stewart) Fett, Dan (Sherri) Delfosse, Dean (Robin) Delfosse; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 526 Louisiana St., Sturgeon Bay, from 10am to noon on Friday, April 1. Funeral will be at noon with Fr. Bob Konkel, OFM officating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in David's name.
