Obituary

Deborah Elizabeth Crean, née Chesebro, 73, aka Jesse inkyhide, passed away on October 8, 2026, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on July 22, 1953, in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Robert and Betty Lou (Acton) Chesebro.

Deborah lived a life centered on caring for others. She was trained as an LPN nurse and worked as an LPN and was a charge nurse at several Upper Mich Nursing Centers. In both her work and her daily life, she was known as a kind, caring, and loving person. She especially enjoyed working with the elderly, long-term care patients, as well as the incapacitated. Her church family remembered her for the way she listened to people and supported them through difficult times.

On December 18, 1999, she married John A. Crean in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, at Family Worship Center. Their marriage was an important part of her life, and she shared with John many years of companionship and love.

Deborah found joy in many simple and creative pleasures. She loved stamping and sending cards all over the world, and she enjoyed making gift cards for others. She also loved gardening and generally being outside. Reading, listening to music, swimming, and singing were among the many things that brought her happiness. She was also a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship were meaningful parts of her life.

Deborah also had an adventurous spirit having done eleven skydiving jumps in Pulaski, WI and Upper Michigan. Going camping, backpacking, canoeing, and skiing were also things she enjoyed.

She is survived by her husband, John Crean; stepdaughter, Jaclyn; grandchildren Cheyenne, Kattie, Susie, and Jurate; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Lemari; and her sister, Carla Gill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Chesebro and Robert Chesebro.

Visitation will be held on October 23, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 925 Marquette Dr, Kewaunee, Wisconsin. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Joshua Jezowski officiating. Inurnment will take place on October 31, 2026, at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee is assisting the family. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
