Debra A. Nelis, 70, Casco, passed away on April 5, 2026, Debbie was born on September 4, 1955, in Algoma, Wisconsin, to the late Edmund and Louella (Charles) LeCloux. Debbie made her home in Casco, where she opened her heart and her home running an in-home daycare, in addition to working for many years for the Olsonite corporation.

Debra was more than a caregiver; she had a passion for sewing and crocheting, crafting beautiful items for her family and friends. She had a love for country music, taking rides through the countryside with loved ones, gardening, and playing games of cribbage.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Joel Nelis; and her sister-in-law, Luann LeCloux. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jessica; her parents, Edmund and Louella LeCloux; and her brother, Dale LeCloux.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 - 10:45 am at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lincoln. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Anthony Birddsall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
