Deloris A. (Brault) Vandermoss

Deloris A. Vandermoss, age 88 of Kewaunee died on December 15, 2018 at the Atrium Acute Care Center of Kewaunee.  She was born on February 24, 1930 in Niagara, WI to the late Derick and Martha (Thomson) Brault.

She graduated from Niagara High School and then went to Milwaukee Business School.  She worked at Green Bay Soap Co. until she married James R. Vandermoss on May 30, 1953.  He preceded her in death on July 23, 2014.

She was known for her old fashioned, home style cooking. Her family’s favorites were ravioli, mock chicken legs and pasties.  Her pasties were sold at Tom’s Pastry Shop in Kewaunee.

Survivors include  one daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Ron Peterson, DePere; three sons and daughters-in-law: Dale (Whitey) and Robin Vandermoss, Kewaunee; Ernie and Kim Vandermoss, Kewaunee; Mike and Sally Vandermoss, Kewaunee; eight grandchildren: Kim (Jeff) Smith; Kris (Fiancé, Tyler) Suchocki; Ryan (Ashley) Vandermoss; Chelsea (Nathan) Schmidt; Ashlee (Brian) Fetzer; Luke (Fiancé, Kari) Vandermoss; Maria (fiancé, Dustyn) Vandermoss; Mitch (special friend, Asia) Vandermoss; six great grandchildren: Kayla (special friend, Adam) Suchocki; Derick Ratajczak; Veyda Vandermoss; Weston Vandermoss; Gwenyth Schmidt; Alivia Schmidt; a sister-in-law: Audrey Brault, Neenah; brother-in-law & sister-in-law:  Gordy and Lily Vandermoss, Suamico; sister-in-law: Gloria Vandermoss, Menasha.  Preceded in death by one great grandchild: Emerson Fetzer; one brother: Fabian Brault; Johanna (John) Miller; Audrey (Frank) Bilski; Elaine (Stuart) Gunville.

Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 18 at St. Hedwig Church, East Krok until the time of services.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury.  Burial will be in Carlton Volunteer Cemetery.
