Donald D. Quistorff, 71, passed away quietly at his Green Bay home on November 8, 2023. He was born on October 25, 1952, in Algoma, WI to the late Donald and Rita (Spachek) Quistorff.
Don attended Kewaunee High School where he lettered in baseball and basketball and was Valedictorian of his graduating class of 1971. He went on to attend college at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and graduated with high honors in Business and Economics in 1975. He was currently a member of the UW-Whitewater National Alumni Association.
He married his best friend and the love of his life, Janice F. Pribek on May 5, 1976, at Holy Rosary Parish in Kewaunee.
He had a life-long career working for the government and retired as a Senior Auditor Accountant for the State of Wisconsin Department of Health & Family Services.
He shared his financial skills within the community by serving as treasurer of Better Life Kewaunee, where he also enjoyed playing cards with the members, served as treasurer for NEW Ladies Whitetails, and, as a member since 1976, assisted St. John Krok merging into St Therese de Lisieux Parish in many financial and fund-raising events.
His passion for sports was evident to all who knew him. He was an avid life-long golfer and loved the good friends he played with. He was also an avid sports fan. He not only followed Wisconsin teams, but took great pride in attending the events of his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife Janice F. (Pribek) Quistorff; brother-in-law, Joseph J. Pribek IV and his wife Linda (Harlow) Pribek; sister-in-law, Ann (Kay) Pribek; Uncles, Don (Dorothy) Pribek, and Eugene (Delores) Pribek; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald (Rita) Quistorff; brothers-in-law, John C. (Theresa) Pribek, and Jerome P. Pribek; father- and mother-in-law, Joseph J. (Joyce) Pribek III; and beloved dogs Queenie and Sophie.
Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Kewaunee on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 9:00-10:15 am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Parish – St. Joseph’s site – Pilsen with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Don will be sadly missed by his family and community. Don was known to all he met for his sense of humor, infectious laughter, and generous nature.
