Ed (Eddie) Mencheski , 50, Casco, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He was born May 9, 1965 to the late Leo and Juanita (Doxtator) Mencheski. Ed married Suzie Massart on September 8, 1984 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Rosiere.
Ed was a very loving and giving person, as evidenced by his Gift of Life, through organ donation. He was a storyteller, husband, father of three, grandpa of six, brother, uncle and friend. There was not a lazy bone in Ed's body. He would give the shirt off his back or his last dollar to anyone who needed it. He was an avid Rams fan and loved playing football with his family and friends. Ed loved all sports and especially enjoyed watching his kids, nieces and nephews as they competed in softball and wrestling. Playing "horse" on the basketball court was another of his favorite things. He supported everyone and spoiled his grandchildren, who could do no wrong. Ed's presence will be missed by many.
Ed is survived by his wife, Suzie; his children, Kasey (Dykes) Georgel, Korie Mencheski, Joey Mencheski; grandchildren, Kiley, Kloey, Drake and Kaley Georgel, Devin and Katrina Seaton; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, Mitch and Donna Mencheski (Tiffany, Megan, Kyle and Kim), Leo and Sheri Mencheski (Chris, Aaron and Keshia), Loretta and Mark Stanislawski (Maya, Sierra and Tristen), Bill and Ann Mencheski (Jessica, Jason and Stefi), Pat and Loretta Mencheski (Pat, Mellissa, Amanda, Matt, Adam and Eric), Gloria Fagg (Willi, Juanita and Dennis), Nancy Waisanen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, Sandee and Ronney Dhuey (Heather), Shelli and Chris Worachek (Karli, Austin and Colton), Mike and Cami Wasilkoff (Alex, Kian, Cade, Adin and Ryah); father-in-law, Nick Wasilkoff.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Juanita Mencheski; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey Massart and Peggy (Massart) Wasilkoff.
