Edward (Poncho) DeVillers , 79, of Casco passed away Wednesday May 13, 2015. He was born to the late Aloysius and Cecelia (Charles) DeVillers. On November 16, 1949 he married Geraldine Coppens. She preceded him in death on December 28, 2005. He worked for many years at Algoma Net Company. Ed was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Ed is survived by his special friend and caregiver Urah Kerscher; his children Barb Haegele, Sharon (Scott) Dix, Nancy (Wayne) Paplham, Mary (Shanon) Guelette, Joe DeVillers, Frank DeVillers, and Scott (Joel) DeVillers; daughter-in-law Kathy DeVillers; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law Carol DeVillers. He was preceded in death by his son Gerald; one brother Ronald DeVillers; and one sister Cecelia (Warren) Kruswick.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday May 23, 2015 at noon at St. Hubert Cemetery, Rosiere. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home of Casco is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared here .
