Emma Jean (Fameree) Hanamann

October 20, 1943 — November 20, 2014

Emma Jean "Emmy" Hanamann, 71 of Casco passed away Thursday November 20, 2014. She was born October 20, 1943 to the late Ernest Fameree and Emma (Delain) Fameree. Emma married Rudy Hanamann on May 11, 1963 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lincoln. She was a volunteer for Life Line of Kewaunee County and a member of St. Peter's Altar Society. Emmy loved watching Wheel of Fortune, playing cards, and Bingo. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Emmy received her gift of life from Lori Heraly and Chris Heraly.

Emma is survived by her Husband Rudy, Children, Kevin (Cindy) Hanamann, Idaho; Renee (Matt) Gunderson, Casco; Kelly (special friend Curt) Havel, Janesville; and Rachelle (Matt) Junio, Casco. Grandkids, Tasha (Jeremy) Howard; Callee (special friend Jonathan) Hanamann; Konnor (special friend Katie) Hanamann; Micah (Andrea) Gunderson; Mikaela (special friend Josh) Gunderson; Paige Havel; Tyler Havel; Cody Junio and Carson Junio. Brothers and Sisters, Ethel Heir; Elsie Gengler; Rita (Loyd) Heraly; Jeanette (Dale) Vandervest; Frank Fameree; Ernie (Mary Ellen) Fameree. Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Joan Fameree; Mary Ann Fameree; Tobi (Lon) Sterett; and Carol (Jack) Hoffman.

She was preceded in death by Brothers and Sisters, Betty (Joe) Arendt; Orville (Audrey) Fameree; Sam Fameree; Jim Fameree; and Allen Fameree. Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law, Merle (Doc) Nelson; Gene Heir; Al Gengler; Audrey (Richard) Dedow; Evelyn (Henry) Sand; and Joe Barrett.

Visitation will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lincoln on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 3-8 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9-10:45 at the church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 AM With Father Dennis Drury and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Online condolences may be shared here .

Emmy's family would like to thank Kewaunee Care Center, Bellin Hospital and Rehab for their care and comfort. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name for Ribbon of Hope and U.W. Madison Transplant.
