Eunice M. (VanderKinter) (Wierer) Siebert

Eunice May Siebert, 90, Kewaunee, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. She was born January 15, 1933, to the late Fred and Emma (Nighorn) VanderKinter. Eunice married Joseph J. Wierer on September 16, 1950, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, he preceded her in death on December 17, 1986. She then married Earl Siebert on June 30, 1993, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, he preceded her in death on March 23, 2016. Eunice was active in, the sewing club, 4-H, homemakers club, women’s club, owls club and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies aid and served as secretary and treasurer. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitch, and playing cards.

Eunice is survived by her children, Dave (Jeanette) Wierer of Green Bay, and Wayne (Becky) Wierer of Sturgeon Bay; daughter-in-law, Sue Kostka of Kewaunee; stepson, Bruce Siebert; grandchildren, Cary Gerdmann, Ryan Wierer, Jay (Katie) Wierer, Jessica (Bill) Senn, Pamela (Joel) Campbell, Nicole (Brad) Kussman, Michelle (Noah) Haban; step-grandchildren, Travis (Trish) Siebert, Kelly Siebert; 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, many step-great-grandchildren; also survived by a niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph J. Wierer, and her second husband, Earl Siebert; son, Joseph R. Wierer; parents, Fred and Emma VanderKinter; brother, Norbert (Olga) VanderKinter and his second wife Norma VanderKinter; sister, Verna (Wilford) Gebauer; in-laws, Francis (Andrew) Ney, George Wierer, Walter (Sybil) Wierer, his second wife Geraldine, and his third wife Geraldine, Julia (Albert) Schunke and her 2nd husband Fritz Barrette.

Visitation will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church – Kewaunee, from 9:00-11:00 am on Thursday, July 6, 2023, with the funeral service following at 11:00 am with Pastor Matthew Sprunger officiating.
