Evelyn J. Raisleger

December 30, 1924 — April 27, 2025

Kewaunee

Evelyn J. Raisleger passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the age of 100 at a local hospital. Evelyn was born December 30, 1924, to the late Joseph and Anna (Repitz) Konop. She was the youngest of 11 children. She graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1942 and married Joseph C. Raisleger on June 11, 1946. He predeceased her on March 4, 2010.

Evelyn worked side by side with Joe on the family farm in Stangelville, was a Green Bay Packer fan. She was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence, now St. Therese Parish, and sang in the church choir for over 50 years and was a member of the Rosary Society.

She and Joe moved to Kewaunee after they retired. The highlight of each Monday was playing cards at the Kewaunee Senior Center. She made many new friends there. But family was her main love, and the family gatherings did not disappoint. She celebrated her 100th birthday in December with family, friends and Santa. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Dennis (Joan) Raisleger, Joe (Carla) Raisleger, Judy (Jim) Brickbauer, Linda (Dick) Montevideo, Mike (Patty) Raisleger and Dale (Wanda) Raisleger. 14 Grandchildren: Jeff Raisleger, Jim (Angie) Raisleger, Scott Raisleger, Amy (Kent) Porter, Jason (Laura) Raisleger, Krista (special friend Brian) Brickbauer, Carl (Justin) Brickbauer, Nick (Krystal) Montevideo, Sara (Brian) Corrigan, Alex (Nikki) Raisleger, Jackie (Dale) Peters, Brad (Eve) Raisleger, Bethany Raisleger, and Cami Bobeck. 17 Greatgrandchildren: Reese, Brandon, Emily, Ben, Max, Tessa, Jack, Reese, Breea, Kendall, Kip, Harvey, Harper, Roland, James, Charlee, and Leo. 3 more great grandchildren due this summer; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased in death by her husband Joe; parents, Joe and Anna Konop; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Mary Raisleger; Brothers: Matt (Eunice), Joe (Hazel), Bernard, Edward, Ervin (Arlene) Konop; Sisters: Alvina (Ben) Pilaryzk, Mary (Joe) Soja, Emily (Sent) Serio, Marcella (George) Konop and Ann (Milton) Pelisek. In-Laws: George (Tressa/Fran), Dan (Louise), and Harry (Lucille) Raisleger; and Bernice (Bob) Seidl.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church (Stangelville site).
