Florence Paul, 89, Casco, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011.
She was born March 3, 1922 at home on the family farm to the late Theophile and Veronica Delebreau. She married Leland Paul on June 17, 1942 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln. Together with Leland they worked on the family farm. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1989. Later in life she worked as head cook at Luxemburg-Casco Jr. High until her retirement at the age of 75. She was a member of Casco American Legion Auxiliary for 66 years.
Florence is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda (Dart) Paul, Frankfort, Illinois; 2 grandchildren, Richard (Kaye) Paul, Woodward, Oklahoma, Christine (Thomas) Raimbault, Frankfort, Illinois; great grandchildren, Sarah Paul, Lakewood, Washington, Matthew and Hannah Paul, Woodward, Oklahoma, Megan and Lauren Raimbault, Frankfort, Illinois; step mother-in-law, Fern Paul, Casco; siblings, Albert (Rita) Delebreau, Donald (Jeanette) Delebreau, Norbert (Joanne) Delebreau, Donna (Robert) Juza; sisters-in-law, Agnes Delebreau, Geraldine Delebreau, Ernestine Delebreau; many nieces and nephews who were dear to Florence's heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland; her son, Jim Paul; her parents Theophile and Veronica (Koss) Delebreau; her step mother, Catherine Delebreau; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Loretta Paul; step mother-in-law, Francis Paul; brothers, Joseph, Edward and Johnny Delebreau; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Maurice and Bernice Paul; step brother-in-law, Robert Murphy; nephew, Robert Juza; also 2 infant brothers and one infant sister.
Friends may call at Wiesner-Massart, Casco from 4 to 8pm on Wednesday, June 1 and again Thursday morning until 10:15am at the funeral home. Wake Sevice 6pm Wednesday. Funeral 10:30am Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
