Gerhart Louis Milton Struck, 80, passed away on January 1, 2024, in Kenmare, ND. Gary was born on March 17, 1943, to the late George and Marie (Pelnar) Struck. A graduate of Kewaunee High School in 1961, he went on to serve in the US Army as a Medic. After serving in the Army he continued his schooling, going on to receive a B.A. from Northwestern College and then on to Milwaukee and Tacoma, WA where he continued his religious studies. After which he became a Vicar at Faith Lutheran Church in Burlington, ND. He was ordained as a pastor on June 24, 1976. He moved several times between his home in Wisconsin and locations in North Dakota where he helped at several churches. Gerhart is survived by his brother, Leon (Vicky) Struck of Kewaunee, brother-in-law, Alan Krizizke of Two Rivers, as well as by nieces and nephews; and a special friend Mark Lambin. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George Robert (Lois) Struck, Larry (Shirley) Struck; and sister, Mary Krizizke.

A graveside service will be held in spring at St. Peter’s Cemetery - Carlton. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Kewaunee is assisting the family. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
