Ivonne Benitez

Ivonne Benitez, 22, Green Bay, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ivonne Benitez, a kind soul who brought light and joy to all who knew her. She was born on August 25, 2001, in West Bend, WI, and sadly left us on April 20, 2024, in Green Bay, WI.

Ivonne, a loving daughter to Joaquin Benitez-Hernandez and Damiana Gomez, valued peace above all else and always carried a bright smile on her face. Ivonne found great joy and solace in the nature that surrounded her. Her positive outlook on life and willingness to accept others for who they truly are made her a cherished friend to many.

A true nature enthusiast, Ivonne adored spending time outdoors and had a passion for all living beings. Her vibrant spirit was contagious, and her outgoing nature warmed the hearts of those around her.

Ivonne is survived by her parents, Joaquin Benitez-Hernandez and Damiana Gomez; her brothers, Carlos Jaimez, Erik DeJesus, Ricardo Benitez; and sisters, Karla Benitez, Viviana Gomez, Brisa Benitez, and Itzel Benitez.

A visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Luxemburg on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Let us come together to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable individual who touched the lives of so many.
