Jacqueline "Jackie" J. Fameree, 89, Kewaunee, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She was born in the Town of Lincoln on February 28, 1936, to the late John A. and Myrtle E. (Jennerjohn) Swoboda. She married Robert L. Fameree, the love of her life, on July 25, 1959, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. They were happily married for 62 years. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2021.

Jackie was a teacher for several years until the birth of her children, when she then became a stay-at-home mom. She later went on to become a licensed practical nurse at St. Mary's hospital until retirement. Jackie loved gardening and taking care of her flowerbeds. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, baking, cooking and canning, but most importantly she loved her family. Jackie was a volunteer with Lifeline for many years, as well as a member of the Funeral Committee and Rosary Society at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee.

She is survived by her children, Robin (Whitey) Vandermoss, Kewaunee, Lori (Mike) Wickman, Luxemburg, daughter-in-law, Lori Fameree, Suamico; grandchildren Ryan (Ashley) Vandermoss, Chelsea (Nathan) Schmidt, Calahan (Kristie) Wickman, Hannah (Dan) Alsteen, Brittney LoCasto, Clifton (Kate) Fameree, Zack (Misty) Fameree, Janna (Jesse) Williams, Anthony Fameree, Maria (Eric Riha) Fameree, Clare Fameree, Francis Fameree, Celia Fameree, George Fameree; great grandchildren, Veyda and Weston Vandermoss, Gwenyth and Alivia Schmidt, Camden and Cru Wickman, Lincoln and Harper Alsteen, Dominic and Samantha Zimmerman, Jay, Scott, Eloise, Simon Fameree, Myles, Gianna, Jackie Williams, Johnny, Joseph, Theodore, and Barnabas Fameree; sisters Patricia Flippo and Beverly Langteau.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fameree; her parents; her son, Jay Fameree; brother, Gary Swoboda; father-in-law and mother-in-law Clifford and Minerva Fameree; and brother-in-law, Gale Fameree.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 8:30 am - 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am with Msgr. Jim Dillenburg and Fr. George Daniel officiating. A private family Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
