James (Jim) Jandrin, 55, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on November 25, 2013 at VCU Hospital in Richmond VA after a short illness. Jim was born on September 15, 1958 to Russell and Donna (Laurent) Jandrin. Jim owned and operated Jandrin Electric from 1983 until 2008. Relocating to Virginia Beach in the fall of 2008, he continued working as an electrical estimator and took great pride in his work for Harbor Construction in Hampton, VA. On April 21, 1995 he married his best friend and soul mate Susan Olejniczak in Denver, CO. Jim was an avid sports enthusiast, and shared his great love of sport and outdoors with his sons.
Jim is survived by his wife Sue; two sons Scott (Jamie) Jandrin, Green Bay, Jon (Lacey ) Jandrin, Green Bay; mother Donna Jandrin, Casco; grandmother Eunice Laurent, Luxemburg; siblings Mike (Carol) Jandrin, DePere, Julie (Mike) Fameree, Green Bay, Jill (Paul) Dalebroux, Luxemburg, Mark (Tracey) Jandrin, Luxemburg; mother-in-law Joan Baeten; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Michael (Estela) Olejniczak, , Julie (Bill) Switzer, Mary Jo (Ray) Janssen, Dave (Debbie) Olejniczak; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Russell Jandrin; grandfather Theophile (Chuff) Laurent; grandparents John (Libbie) Jandrin; father-in-law Ronald Olejniczak; and step father-in-law Merlin Baeten.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco from 3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. A private service will be held at the Funeral Home following visitation with Deacon Paul Zenefski and Deacon Daniel Laurent officiating.
