Janet Elizabeth Cheaney, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Cardinal Ridge in Sturgeon Bay.
She was born December 29, 1917 in Green Bay to Joseph and Hazel (Williams) Wolf. In 1940, Janet married Francis Patrick Cheaney at Christ Episcopal Church in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1994.
Janet is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jim Duquaine, Door County; 2 granddaughters, Lisa (Todd) Kreuser, Seymour, Kristin Duquaine, Door County; 2 great grandchildren, Hannah and Jadyn; and also, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters, Bob (Bernice) Wolf, Gertrude (Ken) Denys, Dorothy (Bill) Goodwin.
A private family Memorial Service will be held with internment taking place at Allouez Cemetery.
