Jeanette L. Brusda, age 97, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was born on July 23, 1928, and lived a long full life defined by faith, family, and quiet strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was the center of her world, and she took pride in caring for her loved ones and preserving family traditions. Her home was always a place of warmth, comfort and welcome, where she spent many enjoyable hours doing meal preparations for family events, many of which were enjoyed at the family's Kewaunee River property. The Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks have lost another fan, as Jeanette enjoyed watching and cheering them on. She was known for her gentle spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering values. She had a strong love for her feathered friends, spending many hours feeding and observing their antics. She enjoyed socializing through her memberships with the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion and the Holy Rosary Society. She cherished her time spent with her six children, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Bill (Martha) Brusda, Fred (Sherry) Brusda, Susan (Alan) Stangel, Connie (Lee) Ahlswede, Terry (Cathy) Brusda; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Wayne Malvitz; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Jeanette was preceded in death by two husbands, Alois Brusda and Robert Classon; her daughter Gail Brandle; her parents Bill and Hilda Malvitz; brothers Roy Malvitz and Harold Malvitz; sister Dolly (Ken) Schoenike; and great grandchild BB Fay Brusda.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Msgr. Jim Dillenburg officiating.
