Jesse Morales Hernandez, 22, Kewaunee, passed away unexpectedly along with his girlfriend, Mary Elliot, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, due to a motorcycle accident. He was born February 21, 2004, to Crystal Ellis and Epifanio Morales Hernandez. 

Jesse was a free spirit and loved life, family, and friends who he considered family. Hanging out with them was very important to him. Jesse was a 2023 graduate of Kewaunee High School and participated in sports. He enjoyed playing football, running track, and continued to work out at the gym every day. One of Jesse's favorite pastimes was riding motorcycles. It was something he truly loved to do. Jesse also enjoyed good food such as Mexican rice, tacos, tamales, sushi lovers and chipotle. Jesse had a special connection with every individual in his life.

Jesse is survived by his mother Crystal (Brian) Ellis; his father Epifanio (fiancé Miriam Margarita Rogel Hernandez) Morales Hernandez; grandparents William and Donna Kiefert; siblings Fabian (Cynthia Munoz) Flores, Diego Morales, JR Morales, Elora Ellis, Miguel Ivan Morales Rogel; aunts and uncles Kim and Rich Gronke, Carrie Kiefert, Chad Doug, Cassie Kiefert, Emma (Harvey Siles Chavarria) Morales Hernandez, and Jose Morales Hernandez, Pablo (Juana Salazar) Morales Hernandez; cousins Chelsi, Lana, Nova, Jaquelyn, Cheyenne, Jacoby, DJ (Brooke Pagel), Kinsley, Rhyah, Areli Morales Hernandez, Bryant Santos, Alma Pulido, Sandra (friend Alejandro Morales Lorenzana) Vega Morales, Jose Ernesto Vega Morales, Andrew DeLeon, Areigh Routhieux, Rubicela Hernandez Morales, Olga Hernandez Morales, Felix Hernandez Morales, Abraham Hernandez Morales, Pablo (Sara Morales) Morales Salazar, Vianey Morales Salazar, Jose Cruz Morales Salazar; other family members Maria Margarita Hernandez Huerta, Felipe and Cristine Vazquez Salazar, Antonio Vazquez, and Aaron Vazquez.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Epifanio Morales Hernandez and Florentina Hernandez Hernandez.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee. Prayer service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Juan Manuel Ruiz, C.R. officiating. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
