John J. Anderson passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born in Algoma on October 11, 1943, to the late Glenn and Dorothy (Hall) Anderson.

John was a Law Enforcement Officer in Kewaunee County and a member of the Algoma Fire Department for a number of years. He loved to play golf and go to lunch with friends. John enjoyed going to the Black Ash Gun Club where he also took care of the lawncare.

A visitation will take place Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services, 1617 Flora Ave, Algoma. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Peter Monnoja officiating. Burial to take place at a later date.
