Jolene LeClaire

Jolene A. LeClaire (89) of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday night, May 4, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 8, 1934, to the late Joseph and Gladys (Phelps) Davis. On August 30, 1958, she married the love of her life, the late Eugene R. LeClaire. Together they had eight children.

Jolene enjoyed music and musicals and writing poetry. She especially loved and enjoyed her family. Jolene had an amazing sense of humor and loved teasing her family.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Sally) LeClaire, Yvonne (Dennis) Bongle, Phillip (Karen) LeClaire, Annette (Tim) Alrand, Sister Caritas Marie LeClaire OSF, Diane (Laine) Belter, Janice (Joe) Steel, and Jeanne LeClaire; plus 25 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 9-11 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Luxemburg. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial to Follow at St. Mary's Cemetery - Maplewood. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Casco is assisting the family with arrangements.
