Judith Ann Berger, 79, Algoma, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Born on August 9, 1946, in Wisconsin, to the late Carl and Lorretta (McCarty) Kenn.
Judi lived a life full of passion, compassion, and advocacy. Judi was a devoted caregiver, nurturing and helping others in her career. Her heart was as big as her outspoken spirit, especially when it came to championing the rights of individuals with disabilities. In addition to that part of her career, Judi also worked for Hoffmasters and Monarchware.
She cherished her time in Algoma, where the lighthouses were a source of inspiration and joy. Her interests included very hip, modern music, NASCAR, she often cheered for her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. She also had a love of animals, expanding her collection of various treasures, and could start a conversation with anyone.
Judi is survived by her children, Lori (Dan) Burns, Frank (Jennifer) Berger, and Jeff (Autumn) Berger; her grandchildren, Michael (Erin) Gau, Dan Jo Burns, Frank, Travis, and Ericka Berger, along with Anatalia, Leacadia, and Xavier Morris; and her great-grandchildren, Maddy, Brayden, Kyah, Aydon, and Ryder; her siblings, Joe Przybylski, Chrissy Mandler, and Susie Baldauf, and a cherished extended family of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Judi will be deeply missed by all.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lorretta (McCarty) Kenn, and her siblings Helena “Tinker” Miller, Bob Przybylski, Larry Przybylski, and Tony Przybylski.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Hall, 94 Clark St., Algoma, WI 54201, on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Come share stories, laughter, and memories as we celebrate a life well-lived and a heart forever cherished. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
