Judith E. Kleiman, 87, Kewaunee, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1938, in the town of Casco, to the late Clarence and Elsie (Hostak) Luedtke. Throughout her life, Judy embraced the roles of a loving daughter, devoted wife, caring mother, and cherished grandmother, always surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.
A true farmer’s wife at heart, Judy dedicated her life to her home and family, including working as a homemaker while serving in the kitchen and laundry areas at Kewaunee Hospital. She was also a volunteer driver for the Aging and Disability Resource Center, offering her time and compassion to those in need.
Judy enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, cooking and canning the vegetables she lovingly grew in her garden. She loved to dance to polka music, play cards, solve puzzles, and could always be found cheering on her favorite high school basketball teams. Judy shared many laughter-filled bus trips with her lady friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her loving children: Randy (Chris), Scott (Diane), Terry (Debbie), Cindy (Paul) Nordwig, and Bonnie Larson. The light of her life, her grandchildren, Shane (Krista) Kleiman, Morgen (Chad) McAfee, Nicole (Mark) Schlies, Spencer and Marie Kleiman, Ashtyn (fiancé Kevin) Feld, and Kahner (Joe) Domke, Melissa, Lauren and Ben Nordwig, and Paige Kittelson; along with her great-grandchildren, Coltyn and Rylan, Scarlet, Parker, and Lennah, Aziel, Victoria and Isaiah, and Chase; brothers, Harry (Charlene) Luedtke, Fred (Mary) Ott, and Greg (Cindy) Ott; sisters-in-law, Marlene (Claude) Kastenholz, Eleanor and Julie Kleiman; as well as by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron Kleiman, her parents Clarence and Elsie Luedtke, and stepmother Florence Luedtke, as well as her sister Joan Belsey and brother Allen Luedtke, and brothers-in-law James and David Kleiman. She will be greeted in heaven by many loved ones, including her nieces Jean Kleiman and Linda Tellez.
Visitation will take place Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. George Daniel officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Judy’s name.
