Keith Alan Duescher

Keith Alan Duescher, age 63 of Kewaunee passed away on April 15, 2021 at his home.  He was born on January 30, 1958 in Kewaunee, WI into a strong German farming family.  He was the son of the late Karl and Jacqueline Duescher.

Keith graduated from Kewaunee High School and pursued his dream of becoming a farmer.  In 1984, he achieved his goal and bought his own dairy farm.  In 1986, he was blessed with a daughter, Katie.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, Harley rides, especially with his two dogs, Brandy and Whiskey, in tow, cheese making, wine making, wood working, but he loved being a grandpa the most to his sidekick, Michael, bibs  (overalls) and all.

For all that knew Keith, he was a strong, proud man with a big heart.  He would help anyone anytime, day or night.  He was also the center of attention anywhere he went with his crazy outfits and headwear.  “Put it this way”, he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.

There will be a private family service on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Buchanan Funeral Home.  Afterward, please join us to celebrate his life at J.W.’s Place, N5685 County Road E, Slovan, WI from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
