Kenneth Joseph Petrina , age 88, of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 22nd, 2017 at the Atrium Post Acute Care of Kewaunee.
Ken was born April 7th, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, to Amanda Trump and Anton Petrina. He graduated from high school in Chicago. Besides living in Illinois and Wisconsin, he has lived in Florida and California. Ken especially enjoyed living on a farm in Waupaca, Wisconsin. There, he was able to work with animals which were the love of his life. He spent the later years of his life in Algoma Wisconsin and the last eight years at the Care Center in Kewaunee where his wit was appreciated by the staff.
Ken worked as a photographer, farmer, and cabinetmaker.
He is preceded in his death by his father, Anton Petrina, born in Drevnicki, Czech Republic, his mother, Amanda Trump, of Elkhart, Indiana, his sisters Mildred (John) McIlvaine, Helen (Henry) LaCroix, Ethel (Bud) Hodge, Jeanne (Robert) Gabalec, and Ruth (Edward) Vopat.
He is survived by his beloved niece, Mary McIlvaine Dybvig of Northome, Minnesota, and other nieces and nephews.
