Larry Andrew Routhieaux , 67, of Forestville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family following a hard fought battle of cancer on Sunday June 26, 2016. He was born on November 30, 1948, to the late Fred and Jennie (Finnedale) Routhieaux.
Larry was married to Kelly (Polcen) Routhieaux for eight years on June 27. He was employed with PBI for 27 years. He then worked for Bayship Building, as a welder until his retirement. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, and especially spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his wife Kelly; four children David (Paula), Donna (Joel) Ferron, Dan (Ericka), and Darrell (Kathleen); stepson Michael and Morgan (family friend); ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings Ethel Hermans, Shirley Metzler, and Donald (Germaine) Routhieaux; a step-sister Sister Mary Gabriel; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death in death by one grandson, Dustin Ferron; one sister Verna (Lawrence) Jadin; and brothers-in-law Orville Hermans and Milton Metzler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco, from 4 to 8 p.m. Prayer Service will be at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday June 30, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. with Father Steve VandenBoogard and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating.
