LaVerne (Kudick) Koehler

LaVerne (Kudick) Koehler, age 94 of Kewaunee died on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Manitowoc.  She was born in the Town of Montpelier to the late Henry and Margaret (Siegmund) Kudick.

She married Elmer Koehler on May 6, 1944  and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2000.

LaVerne worked for Leyse Aluminum Co. for Twenty-Five years until retiring in 1986.  She was a life long member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Kewaunee and the Ladies Aid of the church. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Dennis and Barbara Koehler, Whitelaw, WI; Darrel Koehler, Grafton, WI; Dale and Vicki Koehler, Spring Green, WI; three grandchildren: David (Sara) Koehler; Eric Koehler; Samuel Koehler; two great grandchildren: Madeline and Ella Koehler; one brother: Orville Kudick; a sister-in-law: Helen Kudick.  She was preceded in death by two daughters-in-law: Eileen Koehler; Renee Koehler; two sisters: Myrtle (Glenway) Luedtke; Ruth (Elmer) Prodell; one brother: Henry Kudick; two sisters-in-law: Betty Kudick and Edna (Augie) Begalke.

Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 1012 Wisconsin Ave. Kewaunee until the time of services.  A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Sullivan Officiating.  Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.
