Leonal I. Gilson

Leonal I. Gilson , 77 of Luxemburg passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He was born on May 3, 1941 to the late Melvin and Rose (Thiry) Gilson. He enjoyed playing solitaire, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and going to the cabin.

Leon is survived by his children, Mike L. Gilson, Lori (Mike) Romuald, and Mike (Chrissy) Heim; significant other, Lorraine Heim; his grandchildren, Erin (Joe) Stein, Shonda Pichette, Lindsey (Alex) Mertens, Todd (Kelli) Pichette, Wyatt, Quinn, Cooper and Kade Heim; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Josie Stein, Noah, Madison and Jacob Mertens, and Kayla Pichette; brothers and sisters, Donald Gilson, Diane Massart, Wayne (Mary Ann) Gilson, Joanne Blahnik, Mary Ann (Dennis) Lockstein, Sharon (Ken) Rass and Mel (Mary) Gilson; he is also survived by the Heim Family. Leon was preceded in death by his brothers Allen (Audrey) Gilson, Gary (Patricia) Gilson and Jim Blahnik.

Per Leon's wishes, there will not be a public visitation. His cremains will be buried at a later date at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Casco. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com.
