Libbie N. Dearing , 97, formerly of the Town of Lincoln, passed away on July 30, 2016 in Spring Green, Wisconsin. She was born in Gregorville, Wisconsin to the late Michel 'Michael' and Celinie 'Selina' (Gilson) Naze. She married the late Paul William Dearing, on February 6, 1945 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lincoln. Libbie was a homemaker and a member of the Sodality of Our Lady. She was a wonderful mother and loving to all those who knew her. She loved Wisconsin, where her Belgian roots are deeply imbedded, and loved living in the country and farm life. We will all miss her gentle manner and smiling face.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Debora) Dearing, Robert (Vanessa) Dearing. James Dearing, Mark Dearing, and Stephen (Colleen) Dearing; her grandchildren, Byron (Amanda) Johnson, Neil Johnson, Laura (Michael) Pleasants, Autumn Dearing, Ashlyn Dearing, and Joshua Dearing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her daughter Selina (Glenn) Johnson; brothers, Elmer (Josie) Naze and Willard (Viola) Naze; and sisters Anna (Joseph) Glime, Laura (Louie) LeFevre and Agnes (Carl) Mazur.
Visitation will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lincoln from 9 to 11 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Fr. Steven Vanden Boogard and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Homes is assisting the family with the arrangements.
