Lorraine Jorgenson, 89, Algoma, passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Algoma Long Term Care. She was born April 14, 1922 in Algoma to the late Walter and Hildagarde(Mueller) Hoffmann.
She married Sylvester (Sal) Jorgenson on January 11, 1940.
Lorraine worked at the Algoma Hospital and later the Algoma Hardwoods. She enjoyed reading and handywork.
She is survived by her children, Carol Conard and Sally Bongle; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne; brothers and sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call at Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, 1617 Flora Avenue, Algoma on Saturday March 24, 2012 from 10am till noon. Funeral Service noon Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Moldenhauer officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
