Mark Emery Dolski, 81, Our beloved brother passed into eternity on March 4, 2026. He was the first born to Jerome and Edith (Voyles) Dolski on February 27, 1945, and grew up on the family farm.
He attended Holy Rosary, Sacred Heart Seminary in Oneida for three years, and graduated from Kewaunee High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from St. Norbert College, and later in life completed a Master's Degree to teach Montessori.
After college he was accepted into the Peace Corps, but the draft for Vietnam took precedence. He came out as a Sargent E-5 and was awarded a Bronze Star. Agent Orange gave him diabetes which changed the trajectory of his life.
At first he worked as a laborer in the construction industry, then as a trained welder he used Tungsten Inert Gas on stainless steel for the food industry. He opened a natural foods store, and eventually spearheaded the formation of NEW Foods Coop.
In Minneapolis, Mark owned Pleasant House, an historic rooming house, became a minister in the Church Universal and Triumphant, taught Montessori, ran for Minnesota State Senate, District 6, and lastly, became part owner of the family farm (Dolski 6, L.L.C.).
Mark was known as kind and generous, and would often ask, "Who should I pray for?" His self-discipline regarding diet and health was stunning. As an intellectual and avid reader, Mark studied religion, health, and culture, urging others to live virtuously and participate in our government. He zealously promoted Medjugorie rosaries and the Miraculous Medal. He also defended the Constitutional right to life for the most helpless human beings in our country. Mark believed conservative values (God, family, and country) would heal and save our world.
In his last days, he received Extreme Unction and the Apostolic Blessing.
Mark is survived by, his daughter, Isa (William Obermeyer) Dolski; brothers, Jerome Dolski Jr, Dennis (Lynn) Dolski, Timothy (Diane) Dolski, Philip (Diane) Dolski; sisters, Mary (Robert) Novak, Rose Dolski aka Qamar, Ramona (David) Barnica, Christine (Mark) Tulachka, Joan (Joseph) Conley; and by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Christopher Dolski; and brother-in-law, Thomas Spaulding Givens aka Nadi Qamar.
Special thanks for the kind and caring treatment provided by Southview Acres Nursing Home, Veterans Administration Hospital and Fisher House of Minneapolis.
The Church Universal and Triumphant will hold a private prayer service at the Cremation Society of Minnesota. They will schedule a celebration of Mark's life at a later date.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church – Kewaunee from 9:00-10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. George Daniel officiating. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
