Marvin J. Englebert, 65, of Casco passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Thursday April 7, 2011. He was born on October 31, 1945 to the late John and Florence (Collins) Englebert. He served in the United States Army Reserves for six years. He married Julie Kroening on November 12, 1966. Marvin spent most of his life farming on the home farm in the Town of Lincoln. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Marvin is survived by his wife Julie, his children Nick Englebert, California; Brenda (Mark) Griep, Brussels; Neil (Jenny) Englebert, Luxemburg; grandchildren Erica, Austin, and Erin Griep; Jurnie Englebert; brother and sisters Carol (Don) Derenne, New Franken; Ruth (Joe) Kerscher, Maplewood; Grace (Jim) Petrina, Forestville; Mary (David) Rhoades, Oconto Falls; Melvin (Marsha) Englebert, New Franken; Cheryl (Joe) Zellner, Casco; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Alvin and Rhoda Kroening, Casco; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law Sue(Dennis) Smith, and Perry(Tammy) Kroening. Marvin will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday April 13, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home in Casco and again on Thursday at the Shrine of the Good Shepard Mausoleum from 10 to 11 am. Prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the Shrine of the Good Shepard Mausoleum with Paster John Brewer officiating. Entombment will follow the service.
