Mary Ann Heraly, 77, of Casco, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born June 7, 1947, to the late Anthony and Lorraine (Moreau) Deprey.
Mary Ann married Carlton Heraly on May 20, 1967, at St. Peter's Church in Lincoln. In doing so she lovingly welcomed his four children as her own. Mary Ann was a homemaker, volunteer, and a woman of faith and generosity, acting as a mother and grandmother to so many. She volunteered countless hours to the Casco Lioness Club, Holy Trinity Church and School, Casco Food Pantry, Kewaunee County Respit Program, Altar Rosary Society, and many more. Mary Ann filled her days with sewing, quilt-making, and baking, but her biggest joy was being a grandma babysitting, spoiling her grandchildren, being their taxi driver, and keeping the cookie jar full. Those grandchildren kept her on her toes.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters Suzanne (Steven) Vincent and Geniese (Dan Vandenhouten) Fameree; son-in-law Ron DeGrave; grandchildren Melissa (Jason) Jeanquart, Stephanie (Cory) Vandertie, Michael (Becky) Vincent, Stacey (Jeremy) Krahn, Catarina (Phil) Zellner, Jayde (Bradley) Southards, Brandon (Jackie) DeGrave, Allison DeGrave, Joshua Fameree, Jennalee (Jonathon) Lundquist, Justin (Mary Jo Tipler) Fameree, Danielle Fameree, and Danae (Jason Salinas) Fameree; 24 great grandchildren; sisters Theresa Deprey and Lisa Dewitt; also survived by in-laws Julie Deprey, Jeff LaFave, Henry and Doris Heraly, Rita Heraly and JoAnn Heraly; Goddaughter Terrie Wendricks; and Godson Douglas Moreau. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Carlton Heraly; son Terry Heraly; daughter Karla DeGrave; daughter-in-law Connie (Jonet) Heraly; grandchildren Samantha Heraly, Chelsie DeGrave; her parents Anthony and Lorraine Deprey; siblings Henry Deprey, Rose Marie LaFave, Anthony Deprey Jr., Randy Deprey; in-laws Henry and Josephine Heraly, LeRoy and Jane Heraly, Roy and Ann Heraly, Loyd and Rita Heraly, Ervin and Elaine Dart, Eldred Heraly, Perry Dewitt, and Nancy Deprey.
