Mary Jane Pavlik, 94, Casco, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. She was born May 29, 1917 in Kewaunnee County to the late Peter and Julia (Barrette) Spitzer. She married George Pavlik. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1979.
Mary Jane was an active member of her church parish, was meticulous about her lawn, family and cooking and could not sit still. She helped her grandchildren with their homework, especially the math. She made many cookie buckets for her family, weighing each cookie. She also read the newspaper everyday from cover to cover.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Harold) Dahlke, Bob (Dolly) Pavlik, Lee (Sue) Pavlik; grandchildren, Kelly (Tom) Hanson, Holly Cayse, Scott (Ailene) Dahlke, Tracey (Jack) Peters, Bryan (Rene) Pavlik, Susan Pavlik, Chris (Tanya) Pavlik, Jenna (Jim) Thyes, Steven Pavlik; step grandchildren, Kristie (Matt) Haney, Suzanne (Nathan) Kozlovski; 9 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Eunice Spitzer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bernie (Martha) Pavlik; a step brother and step sisters-in-law; she is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by, step mother, Selina Spitzer; brother, Donals Spitzer; a step brother and step sisters.
Friends may call at the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum on Friday, November 25th from 1:30 to 2:30pm. Funeral Service 2:30pm Friday at the mausoleum with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment to follow.
