Mildred LeCaptain , 93, Casco, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Algoma Long Term Care. She was born August 8, 1917, in the Town of Red River to the late William and Louise(Paul) Flavion. She married Elmer LeCaptain on June 28, 1939. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1990.
Along with her husband they farmed in the town of Red River until their retirement.
She is survived by her children, Donald(Joan), Algoma, Ruth LeCaptain, Chicago, Robert LeCaptain, Casco, Joyce Page, Two Rivers; her grandchildren, Sharon(Randy) Nowak, Mark(Rachel) LeCaptain, Karen(Allen) LeRoy, James(friend Bridget) LeCaptain, Kristal(Luke) Ferron, Lynette Schlies; great grandchildren, Rachel, Michelle, Nick, Rebecca, Dominique, Warrick, Ryan, Hailey, Kira, Landon, Destiny, Aliyah; great-great granddaughter, Lakelyn; sister, Gertrude Schmidt; sister-in-laws, Ruby and Betty Flavion.
She is preceded in death by one son, Jule; brothers, Henry(Gertrude) Flavion, Gerald Flavion, Bill Flavion; sisters, Florence(Henry) DeGrave, Esther(Charles) Englebert, Lucy(Richard) Dellis, Grace(Elroy) Pilgrim, Virginia Burgene, Loretta(Jim) Parkos.
Friends my call at Wiesner & Massart funeral home in Casco on Monday, February 14th, from 4-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, February 15th, at Country Bible Church from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Funeral Tuesday at Country Bible Church, Hwy 54, Casco, where Bob Steiner will be officiating. Burial in Gospel Truth Hall, Lincoln.
