Pamela Anne (Kramer) Schmeling

Pamela Anne (Kramer) Schmeling, 48, Kewaunee entered into eternal rest on Sunday evening, September 30, 2018, surrounded by her family at home.  Pamela was born on January 8, 1970 in Sheboygan to Roman and Joanne Kramer.  Pamela was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School and Lakeshore Technical College.  She was currently employed by Shopko Optical in Sheboygan as an Optical Manager for several years until the time of her illness.  On September 2, 2017, she married Keith Schmeling at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.  They just celebrated their First Wedding Anniversary earlier this month.

Pamela is survived by her husband: Keith, son: Brayden Reimer and step-son: Ryker Schmeling, parents: Roman and Joanne Kramer, brother: Greg Kramer, nephews: Brandon and Mason Kramer, mother-in-law: Janice Schmeling, sisters-in-law: Tammy and Kevin Swagel (Kayla, Carson and Karla) and Kim Schmeling.  Also surviving is Brayden’s father: James Reimer.  She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ewald and Violet Kroening, Joe and Viola Lorier and her father-in-law Mark Schmeling.

Visitation for family and friends will be at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, from 4-8 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 and at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9:30-10:45 AM on Friday, October 5, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Kewaunee with Pastor Michael Sullivan officiating with burial to follow at Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan.

Pamela’s family would like to extend a very special thank-you to Crystal (Will) Bailey, Sandy Pfister, Aurora at Home Hospice and Jesse, RN Aurora BayCare Medical Center for all the care and compassion extended to her during her illness.  Your kindness will always be remembered.
