Patricia M. Glime

Patricia M. Glime, 85, of Algoma, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born on November 16, 1937, to the late Hazley and Marion (Barbiaux) Hurley. She married Joseph Glime at St. Mary’s in Algoma. They shared a wonderful 69 years together until his passing earlier this year in April. Patricia loved her family, enjoyed boating with Joe when they were members of the Algoma Boat Club, loved cooking, sewing, and helping others.

Patricia is survived by her children, Mike (Jenelle) Glime, Mark (Carolyn) Glime; grandchildren, Eric (Kate) Glime, Celia Glime, and Welsey Glime; great-grandchildren, Marion (Matt) Wilcox, Brooklyn, and Vivian; as well as by two sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Glime, her parents Hazley and Marion Hurley; her mother and father-in-law; as well as by two brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – Algoma, from 9:00 – 11:00 am Saturday, November 4, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Msgr.
