Peggy (Massart) Wasilkoff

December 11, 1943 — July 9, 2013

Peggy (Massart) Wasilkoff, 69, of Casco, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 after a strong and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born December 11, 1943 to John and Virginia (Payne) Robinson. In 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, Harvey Massart. They were married for 17 years, until his death. In 1985, she was blessed to find true love a second time and married Nick Wasilkoff. Peggy was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She found her calling in life, to be a stay at home babysitter. Over the years, she took care of 67 kids, and truly loved each and every one of them, like her own.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Nick; 4 children, Sue (Ed) Mencheski, Sandee (Ronnie) Dhuey, Shelli (Chris) Worachek, Mike (Cami) Wasilkoff; grandchildren, Kasey (Dykes) Georgel, Heather (Jerry) Strnard, Kori Mencheski, Karli Worachek (special friend Trever Spude), Austin Worachek (special friend Becca Ronsman), Joey Mencheski (special friend Anna Sabah), Colton Worachek, Alex, Kian, Cade, Adin and Ryah Wasilkoff; great grandchildren, Kiley, Kloeh and Drake Georgel, Devin and Katrina Seaton, Paycen Strnard; siblings, Roger (Judy) Robinson, Pat (Jim) Fenske, Bob (Sandy) Robinson; a sister-in-law, Evelyn (Jerry) Havel; a special cousin, Bonnie Bruening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Massart; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louie and Agnes Massart; mother-in-law, Mary Wasilkoff; sister-in-law, Dee Skwerski; and her parents, John and Virginia Robinson.

Friends may call on Friday, July 12 from 3 to 8pm at Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, Casco. Wake service 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 9 to 10:15am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am Saturday, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln with Fr. Steve Vanden Boogard and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial in St. Hubert Catholic Cemetery, Rosiere.

The family would like to thank all the kids who Peggy watched over the years, who came to visit her during her illness. Additionally, the wonderful support she received from her family and friends each and every single day. She was a truly incredible lady who was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
