Raymond Veeser, 88, Casco, passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 at a local nursing facility. He was born February 5, 1924 in Slovan to the late Felix and Minnie (Schoen) Veeser. On October 5,1943 Ray married Eileen Ouradnik.
Ray farmed the family homestead for many years. He retired from Boulanger Construction. Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include Ray's wife of 69 years, Eileen; 3 sons, Gary (Char) Veeser, Casco, Dale (Diane) Veeser, Casco, Wayne (Linda) Veeser, Casco; 5 grandchildren, Kevin (Brenda) Veeser, Cory (Dawn) Veeser, Jason (Candi) Veeser, Justin (Janel) Veeser, Kyle (Julie) Veeser; 10 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Wiesner-Massart, Casco on Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 3 to 6pm. Funeral Service 5pm Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Carl Brewer officiating. Lunch to follow. Burial in West Slovan Cemetery.
