Raymond “Sugar Ray” Worachek, 67, Casco, Passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He was born on August 1, 1956, to the late Anthony and Emma (Hiller) Worachek. Sugar Ray was a meat cutter for Packerland Packing before retiring. He enjoyed hobby farming, playing pool, being part of the local dart league, hunting and fishing.
Ray is survived by his brothers and sisters, Kenny Worachek, Mary Ann (Wayne) Gilson, Paul Worachek, Steve (Vicki) Karnitz, Alice (Jon) Stevenson, Lucy Ihlenfeldt, Ed Worachek, Rose (Glenn) Jergenson; Ray’s very special nephew, Randy Gilson and his boys; as well as by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Emma Worachek and brother, Phil Worachek.
Visitation will be held at Kinnard Funeral Home – Casco on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 2:00-6:00 pm with a funeral service at 6:00 pm with Deacon Bob Miller officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Online Condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
