Robert "Bo" Neuzil, 61, a beloved member of the Algoma and Casco communities, passed away on April 3rd 2024. Bo was born on August 6, 1962, to his loving parents, Bonnie (Olmsted) Neuzil and the late Arlan Neuzil. He grew up in Rio Creek and graduated from Algoma High School in 1980.

After completing his education, Bo embarked on a journey filled with diverse professional experiences. He worked on the family farm, where he developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and a strong work ethic. Bo also dedicated his skills and talents to various companies, including Algoma Net Company, Algoma Hardwoods, NEW Industries, and Moxies. Throughout his career, he made valuable contributions and left a lasting impact in each endeavor he pursued.

On November 13, 1999, Bo found his lifelong partner and soulmate in Sharon, whom he married and would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they shared a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Bo's dedication to his family was unparalleled. His love for his parents, wife, children Jacob and Travis, knew no bounds. He treasured every moment spent with them, creating lasting bonds and beautiful traditions that will be cherished for generations to come.

He led a remarkable life filled with dedication and passion for various organizations and hobbies. Bo was a lifelong member of the Algoma FFA, where he served as the Vice President. His commitment to the organization was unwavering, and he played a significant role in shaping the future of agricultural education in the community.

In addition to his involvement with the FFA, Bo was an esteemed member of the Algoma Hunting and Fishing Club. He served as the club's President and was recognized as an honorary member in 2008. Bo's love for nature and the great outdoors was evident through his active participation in the club's activities.

Bo's other enjoyments included a 46-year journey playing dartball. He proudly captained the Post 42 Amvents dartball team, leaving a lasting impact on the local dartball community. In his leisure time, Bo found joy in playing cards, shooting pool, and pursuing his passion for hunting and fishing. However, above all, his greatest pleasure came from spending quality time with his beloved family.

Bo's warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of community service, leadership, and a love for life that will continue to inspire others for years to come.

Bo is survived by his wife, Sharon Neuzil; children, Jacob and Travis; mother, Bonnie Neuzil; father-in-law, Jim Wautlet; sisters, Debbie (Scott) DePrey, Holly (Jeff) Walker, Loretta (Mike) Guilette; godfather, Larry Schneider; godchildren, Connie Neuzil, Alex Villers, Mia Barragan; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Rich Starr, Linda Wautlet, David Wautlet, Diane (Dan) Massart, Dennis (Tracy) Wautlet; as well as by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arlan Neuzil; brother, Bill Neuzil, mother-in-law, Verna Wautlet; paternal grandparents, Harold and Helen Neuzil; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Minnie Olmstead; godparents, Jim Olmstead and Norma Teske; and other aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Kinnard Funeral Home - Casco, with a prayer service at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday morning, April 8, from 9:00 to 11:00 am with funeral service at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rankin with Dr. Rev. Christopher Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to the American Kidney Fund who provided so much support for Bo throughout the years.

May Bo's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
