Roland Joseph Annoye , 89, of Algoma passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and four daughters on Friday December 15, 2017. He was born to the late Alex and Victoria (Pinchart) Annoye on July 29, 1928 in the Town of Lincoln. On October 1, 1946 he married Vernal Mae Jandrin. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1964. He then married Grace (DeKeyser) Jandrin. Roland was a farmer and a mechanic for Mark Schleis and Ralph Uecker Implement. He also did landscaping for Lakeside Landscaping. He spent his time woodworking, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Roland is survived by his wife Grace; children Gloria (James) Jeanquart, Cynthia ( Ronald ) Vandermause, Mary Jo Harrison, Vicki Dart (special friend George Nath); grandchildren Korina (Ross) Tlachac, Amy Jo Johnson, Josh (Candy) Jeanquart, Jesse (Amy) Jeanquart, Marnie Patton, Dani (Rob) Worachek, Erin (Shawn) Olson, Meg (Dave) Hack, Jake (Rachel) Harrison, Tyler Harrison, Luke Dart, Justin (Tiffany) Dart, and Adam (Sarah) Dart; 23 great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; stepchildren Judy (Dave) Mindak , Terry (Elaine) Jandrin, Gary (Janet) Jandrin, and Chris Wade (special friend Tim Maloney). Roland is further survived by two sisters Loretta Annoye, and Beverly Pierre; and 7 sisters-in-law Ruth Annoye, Helen Annoye, Joan Breaker, Germaine (Duke) Krabbe, Donna Jandrin, Carol DeKeyser, and Jaye Streakenbach.
Roland was preceded in death by his first wife Vernal Mae (Jandrin) Annoye; parents Alex and Victoria (Pinchart) Annoye, sister Lorraine (Harold) DeGuelle; four brothers Vincent Annoye, Harry (Martha) Annoye, Elmer Annoye, and Stanley Annoye; five brothers -in-law Harold Breaker, Russel Jandrin, Wilbur (Ruth) DeKeyser, Joe (Rose) DeKeyser, and Ivan DeKeyser.
Visitation will be held at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco on Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday December 20, 2017 from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln. There will be a wake service on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared here .
