Obituary

Rosalie M. Dembinski, Kewaunee, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. She was born January 3, 1941, to the late Alvin and Elva (Longley) Kuehn. She married Walter "Wally" Dembinski in 1958.

Rosalie grew up in Door County. She moved to Kewaunee after marrying the love of her life, Walter. She worked at Mirro Co. in Manitowoc for over thirty years. Rosalie loved having her family over, especially visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she dearly loved. She enjoyed polka music and dancing while traveling with Walter when he played in polka bands.

Over the years, Rosalie also worked at the Algoma Hardwoods. Her and Wally operated the RWR Tavern in Luxemburg for a few years. It was rumored that "Rosie made the best tasting hamburgers in the area." She also enjoyed watching Western TV shows from the comfort of her kitchen table.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Gary (Brenda) Dembinski, Shelly Dembinski, and Jeff Dembinski; her grandchildren, Jessie Cherney, Ryan (Fiancé Megan) Cherney, Rev. Kevin Dembinski (Special friend Chewy), Katie (Taylor) Killian; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Paisley, and Logan; brothers, Paul Kuehn and Dale Kuehn; sisters Sandi (Ron) Tassoul, Marilyn (Jack) Plos; sisters-in-law, Marcie Brabant and Arlene Kuehn; further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter; her daughter Robin Cherney; daughter-in-law; Debbie Dembinski; her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Marvin and Ruby Dembinski; brother Daniel Kuehn; brother-in-law Dean Brabant; sister Ruby (Johnny) Charles; and sister-in-law Diane Kuehn.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services, Kewaunee. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. Burial will follow at St. Hedwig's Church Cemetery, East Krok.
