Rudolph (Rudy) P. Hanamann , 74 of Casco passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 5 th , 2016 at Bellin Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 29, 1942 to the late Rudolph Sr. and Milda (Zuege) Hanamann. He served in the United States Air Force. On May 11, 1963 he married Emmy Fameree at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2014. Rudy enjoyed cooking, especially making trippe, sausage, and sauerkraut in the man cave. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at the cabin talking to the deer. He was supportive of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Rudy is survived by his four children Kevin (Cindy) Hanamann, Idaho; Renee (Matt) Gunderson, Casco; Kelly (special friend Curt) Havel, Janesville; and Rachelle (Matt) Junio, Casco; grandchildren Tasha (Jeremy) Howard, Callee (special friend Jonathan) Hanamann, Konnor (special friend Katie) Hanamann, Micah (Andrea) Gunderson, Mikaela Gunderson, Paige Havel, Tyler Havel, Cody and Carson Junio; sister Carol (Jack)Hoffman; brothers-in- law and sisters-in- law Ethel Heir, Elsie Gengler, Rita (Loyd) Heraly, Jeanette (Dale) Vandervest, Frank Fameree, Ernie (Mary Ellen) Fameree, Joan Fameree, Mary Ann Fameree, and Tobi Sterett. Rudy was preceded in death by his wife Emmy; his parents; his brother Marvin Hanamann; sisters Audrey (Richard) Dedow and Evelyn (Henry) Sand; brothers-in- law and sisters-in- law Merle (Doc) Nelson, Gene Heir, Al Gengler, Joe Barrett, Betty (Joe) Arendt, Orville (Audrey) Fameree, Sam Fameree, Jim Fameree, and Allen Fameree.

Visitation will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln on Sunday August 7, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Military Service will take place at 6:45 p.m. Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. with full military rites to follow. Entombment will take place at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Bay Settlement at a later date. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home of Casco is assisting the family.
